Bodrum, formerly Halicarnassus, is a lively coastal resort and a popular tourist destination on the southwest coast of Turkey, in the Mugla Province. Bodrum, with its intense nightlife, beautiful beaches, historical sites, quality hotels and holiday villages, is one of the most popular holiday towns and the largest resorts on the Aegean coast.
Bodrum is described as “The Land of the Eternal Blue” by Homeros. The spectacular medieval castle is built by the Knights of the Rhodes. 

Bodrum Castle

It was built as a structure built on a rocky area between two harbors in Bodrum town of Muğla.

Castle:  After entering inside, you pass through narrow stair tunnels and go towards kalay.You have to cross the different gates and a bridge to get to the inner city.   •  After you get your ticket for 20 TL per person, you can go between 09.00 – 12.00, 14.00 – 19.00 hours. Museum Card is valid.
